WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE: Jacksonville, Florida

Updated: Feb 13, 2019

There are many annual events that will bring, not only people together, but a whole city..DUUUVAL!  Musicians will converge on Jacksonville, Florida for the annual music festival-- WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE.  This event is sponsored by MONSTER and is jammed packed with musical talent while adding a carnival background feel.

This musical festival has been at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Florida, since 2011 and the event has been catapulted into one of the nation’s premier destinations for rock and roll.  The festival started out as a one day event in 2011 and has exploded into a three day extravaganza.  There are anywhere from 17 to 20 bands playing each of the 3 days starting on Friday, April 27, 2018.

This event is so powerful that it will unite people from all walks of life for three days strait.  No matter your political affiliation, your race, color, creed, or sexual orientation, this event will dissolve all those euphemistic barriers people put up against each other.  This is one of those powerful things that music festivals can do to enlighten the soul-- if only for a weekend.  If you need a cleansing of the soul, then this is the event for you.

The TCRN will be there to cover this event in its entirety.  We are looking for any and everyone to seek us out and let us know: what this event means to you, what bands you are there to see and to put each and everyone one of you on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube.  Not only is Welcome to Rockville an interactive event, but so is the TCRN.  This is why this annual event is a must see.

Keep a look out for our Welcome To Rockville Facebook Event Page where we will conduct polls leading up to the event, starting on April 1, 2018.  The TCRN will have Disclaimer Girl and myself Raul Da' Bull, n/k/a the Pineapple Haired Puerto-Rican, covering this event.  We both hope to see each and every one of you there.
